Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board

In Washington State, noxious weed control districts were established to address local noxious weed priorities in agricultural areas, before county noxious weed control boards were created. Many work closely with their county weed board. These districts, where established, conduct ongoing weed surveys, set local weed control priorities, provide technical information on weeds and control options, and work to achieve voluntary landowner compliance with state weed law (including carrying enforcement actions as necessary).
